The Active Living Conference 2023 was a roaring success and PAPREN played a significant and visible role. In addition to being an official conference partner, we held several events. The poster session, speed talks, and oral presentations featured the work of PAPREN Work Groups and collaborators.

After chatting with new and old friends at our lunch roundtable on Tuesday, we co-hosted the poster and networking session with Active People, Healthy NationSM Tuesday evening

and hosted a lively, fun networking event on Wednesday evening.

PAPREN was well-represented throughout the conference in posters, speed talks, and oral presentations.  Couldn’t attend this year? Check out the list below.

We led a PAPREN panel featuring all six Work Groups that was a great introduction for the “PAPREN-curious”.

Last but not certainly not least, we convened the PAPREN Work Group Fellows at ALC through financial support of CDC. The Fellows all made the most of this valuable opportunity to mix with researchers and practitioners. Just as importantly, it was a chance for them to connect with each other. The Fellows have expressed immense gratitude for the experience. In a true example of the power of a network, they made plans to stay connected after the conference.
