Expert Consensus for Local Implementation of Physical Activity Policy, Systems and Environment (ECLIPPSE)
The built environment of a community influences opportunities for community members to be physically active and healthy, but many communities aren’t designed to promote physical activity and health among residents. Making changes to the built environment is a process that takes time and effort. ECLIPPSE is a set of strategies communities can use to support the implementation of built environment changes that promote physical activity and health. The strategies are designed to be useful at any stage and can support the entire process, from initial planning stages through implementation. ECLIPPSE was developed by a PAPREN team, who engaged a 23-member expert panel from across the United States to participate in a structured process that informed the development of ECLIPPSE.
PAPREN Products
PAPREN Work Groups conduct small, unfunded projects that produce academic and practice materials for use by a wide range of audiences. PAPREN Coordinating Center researchers also develop products based on the applied evaluation project and topics relevant to physical activity policy research. Products appear in reverse chronological order based on publication or release date.
