September 22, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

PLACES is a groundbreaking data resource with health information for the entire United States down to the county, place, census tract, and ZIP Code Tabulation Area levels.
PLACES provides model-based estimates for 27 chronic disease related measures that can help local health departments and jurisdictions better understand the burden and geographic distribution of health-related outcomes in their areas and assist them in planning public health interventions.
Members of the PLACES team from CDC’s Division of Population Health will provide an overview of PLACES and tools for using PLACES data:
Kurt Greenlund, PhD, Chief of Epidemiology and Surveillance Branch, Co-PI PLACES
