We’re excited and proud to launch the Physical Activity Policy Research and Evaluation (PAPREN) website. More than ever we’re learning how staying physically active protects health. Collaboration across boundaries will be crucial as we retool existing solutions and continue to develop new ones.

PAPREN’s goal is to help make all types of communities more friendly for walking, bicycling and playing by building relationships across disciplines and between research and practice. We’ll generate questions and produce resources that help practitioners and advance the field, with emphasis on how our environments shape our behavior, and provide space for collaboration.

We aim to provide a unique blend of new information and resources whether you were a PAPRN/PAPRN+ member, just joined, or are simply curious. We invite you to explore the site, sign up to get communications, find a work group that matches your interests, take part in our Grand Rounds webinar series about developments in the field, and join Network calls to keep current on our activities and CDC offerings.

We want your ideas for how to make PAPREN a vibrant, productive, valuable network. You can reach us by email, Twitter or comments here on the website.

We look forward to hearing from you!
