It’s hard to believe, but PAPREN year 3 started October 1! We provide annual evaluation results on our Network call each May, but we want to give you a quick snapshot as we kick off this critical year for our vibrant, multi-sector Network.
We continue to see steady membership growth and now have over 620 members! Just as impressive is the growth among members who represent practice. Our Work Group membership continues to grow as well.
Work Group projects and products
Year 3 will be a big year for PAPREN Work Group projects and products. As you can see, each Work Group has multiple projects.
Here are selected examples of the Work Group projects.
Each Work Group will release multiple manuscripts and translational products based on their projects. The PAPREN applied evaluation project on zoning, led by co-PI Jamie Chriqui, will release manuscripts and model policies based on those findings.
We have a fantastic slate of speakers through the end of the academic year. Here is a listing of upcoming events. Like this past year, we’ll take a summer pause in June and July.
You can register at our Events page for Grand Rounds. All PAPREN members receive the calendar invitation with Network call meeting access. We want to highlight the topic and speaker for the November meeting of the PAPREN Equity & Resilience Work Group, which is likely to be of high interest to the full Network. You can register for that event here.
As of now, our partner GP RED is planning for the 2022 Active Living Conference to happen in person at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD, March 7-10. If so, PAPREN will host an in-person event with format currently under development (send us your good ideas here).
We’re honored to lead this Network that is providing space to learn and collaborate across disciplines, sectors and the research-practice continuum. We love to hear from members, please stay in touch!
